Materials & Care

Voile is named for its light, sheer look and feel — the word is French for “veil.” It generally has a high thread count, making it smooth and silky. This voile is woven in India from ramie fibers, instead of the more typical cotton. Ramie comes from a renewable plant in the nettle family, and is similar to linen, but stronger (a bonus in this semi-sheer fabric).
